About

Goleta

Goleta truly is the best of many worlds. The weather is remarkably comfortable and mild year-round. High temperatures typically fall within a 10-degree range of 70°F (21°C) while lows rarely fall below 40°F (4.4°C). The town is situated between the Santa Ynez Mountains, which offer a scenic backdrop to downtown, and the Pacific Ocean.

The climate and location make for the perfect playground, with temperatures warm enough to be outside all year long, and a list of things to do that includes cycling, world-class surfing at some of California’s best beaches, stand-up paddleboarding, hiking, camping, and golf.

The area’s incredibly diverse ecosystem results in a variety of fresh, local cuisine, plus award-winning craft beers and wine that can be found abundantly throughout the region.

Goleta is also home to University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB) — a remarkably beautiful campus located right on the coast, and the Santa Barbara Airport. In short, everything you need to have a good time is right here.
